Straight answers on pricing

Most blasting companies won't put numbers on their website. We will — real numbers from real jobs we've done. Every project is different, but these give you an honest ballpark before you ever pick up the phone.

Recent jobs, real prices

20-foot car hauler — full blast, prime, and paint: $900 for the work plus about $100 in primer and paint. Roughly $1,000 all-in. Included masking to protect the wood deck and lights.

Kick pottery wheel — blast and paint labor: $300. The customer supplied their own color-match paint and handled disassembly.

Flatbed truck bed — blast: starting at $400.

Rims and wheels — blast: $25 per wheel.

What moves the price

  • Size of the project — more surface area, more time and media.
  • Rust and coating condition — heavy scale takes longer to strip than light surface rust.
  • Paint choice — standard industrial topcoats vs. customer-supplied color matches.
  • Prep and masking — protecting wood, glass, lights, and surrounding surfaces.
  • Location — we're mobile across West Texas; distance factors in.

How quoting works

Call or text (325) 704-0027 with what you've got — a photo helps enormously. Most jobs are quoted the same day, and estimates are always free. No obligation, no pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

By the job. You get a flat quote up front based on the project — no watching the clock, no surprise add-ons.

Are materials included in your quote?

It depends on the job. Some quotes include primer and paint; on other jobs (like the pottery wheel above) the customer supplies their preferred paint and we handle the labor. Your quote will always spell out exactly what's included.

Why do prices vary so much between projects?

Blasting time is driven by surface area and condition. A lightly rusted trailer and a heavily scaled industrial tank are completely different jobs — that's why we quote from photos or a site visit instead of guessing.

Is there a minimum job size?

Every mobile job involves travel, setup, and teardown, so a single item generally needs to be around $250–$300 to make the trip worthwhile. Have a few small items? I'm happy to batch them into one visit. If it's metal and it needs refinishing, ask us.

Do you require a deposit?

For most jobs, no deposit — payment on completion. Larger commercial projects may have milestone terms, discussed up front.
